Хороший вопрос! Произношением можно заниматься на любом этапе изучения языка, включая начальный. Если вы только начинаете, я бы даже сказала, вам повезло! Вам не нужно будет переучиваться 🙂

Если начинающий не занимается английским произношением…
➤ ему трудно воспринимать английскую речь на слух

Можно ли изучать английский без фонетики?
Да, так тоже делают! Но этот путь не из легких, и многие вам это подтвердят
Фонетика – это фундамент, на котором сооружают каркас (грамматика) и который наполняют содержимым (лексика).
Если «фундамент» непрочный, будьте готовы к систематическим ошибкам и кризисам в обучении
На индивидуальных занятиях по произношению со мной начинающие:
запоминают много слов и выражений, не прилагая к этому сверх-усилий
сразу осваивают стандартное произношение
хорошо «чувствуют» язык, что отражается на их письме и спонтанной речи (writing)
чувствуют себя свободно и уверенно в общении, даже на уровне A2-B1
легко понимают речь носителей
быстрее осваивают язык в целом
